How many halves are in three quarters?

¾ ÷ ½1½
Why

Multiply by the reciprocal: ¾ × 2 = 1½.

What the studio can help make

Four ways to make the work clearer.

Start with a learning objective, a dataset, a presentation or a rough idea. The format should follow the educational need.

  1. Learning content

Shape a learning objective into explanations, questions, worked examples and classroom-ready resources.

  2. Mathematical data analysis

Explore assessment, learner or programme data, identify patterns and explain what questions the numbers can support.

  3. Presentations and visual assets

Give teaching, staff development or education-product ideas a clear narrative through slides, diagrams, charts and graphics.

  4. Educational video planning

Plan concise educational videos with scripts, storyboards and supporting materials focused on one learning idea at a time.

These sample formats make the work easier to inspect. The values and contexts are fictional; they are not client projects or evidence of classroom outcomes.

Proposed 45-second sequence

One idea, four clear beats.

  1. 00:00–00:10

Show one set of fictional response times.

  2. 00:10–00:23

Group the values into bins that start at zero.

  3. 00:23–00:36

Shift the bin starts and compare the counts.

  4. 00:36–00:45

Close: the grouping changes the picture; the values stay the same.

Storyboard proposal only. No finished video, classroom use or learner outcome is implied.

How the work is shaped

Precision for the subject. Perspective for the classroom.

Quillattice brings mathematical rigour and classroom wisdom to AI-enabled work, with a human review before it is shared.

Mathematical rigour

Subject knowledge helps preserve accuracy as complex ideas and data become clear, useful work.

Classroom wisdom

Good explanations hold on to the learning goal, the learners and the teaching context.

Human review

AI supports exploration and drafting. Each deliverable receives human review for accuracy, clarity and fit to the brief.

The perspective behind Quillattice

As a secondary-school Maths teacher, I care about helping good ideas reach people in forms they can understand and use. My experience includes work with higher-attaining pupils, Further Mathematics and UKMT Mathematical Challenges; this informs my focus on precise reasoning, clear explanations and the learner’s perspective.

I hold a BSc in Mathematics from Loughborough University and a PGCE in Mathematical Education from the University of Leicester. These qualifications and my classroom experience inform why I created Quillattice: to help UK schools, tutoring providers, education publishers and edtech teams turn learning goals, data and complex ideas into clear, accurate, useful work. AI supports exploration and drafting; mathematical judgement, classroom context and human review shape each deliverable before it is shared.

Learning access and inclusion
